A mother lion, concerned about the safety of her young cubs, took to the water to fight a giant crocodile - in an attempt to protect her offspring as they crossed a river filled with the deadly Okavango reptiles. That night, my girlfriend and I got into bed in the early hours , as it was a fun-filled and successful weekend for both of us in the same way, hence we had to make good near the end.
