Whites Only Voyage

Musa was the only black man on the luxury cruise ship

Musa was the only black man on
a luxury cruise ship that was about to sink,
5 hours after it had left the Port of Mombasa.

He was the toilet cleaner on the cruise ship.

For the urgent situation that was, the white people
looked among themselves for someone
to pray, but no one wanted to as everyone
was terrified and clueless. With tears in his eyes,
the ship captain suddenly spotted Musa.

He pointed a finger at him and shouted,
”You! Pray for us!”

Fearful he would be punished for not obeying,
Musa obliged and started a prayer, with CONFIDENCE ;

“Dear Lord, as I was boarding this ship,
it said, ‘WHITES ONLY'.

Lord, when I wanted to use the bathroom,
the sign read, ‘WHITES ONLY’.

And Lord, when I went to the tables for food,
it was reserved for ‘WHITES ONLY'.

So Lord, as this ship is about to sink,
I pray that you take ‘WHITES ONLY’.

...and all said,

AMEN”.
