WHERE HE LEADS ME In “pastures green?” Not always. Every so often He, in kindness leadeth me In weary ways, where heavy shadows be. For He knoweth best when it is, to test my strength. And by “still waters?” No, not always so; Oftentimes the heavy thunderstorms Round me blows, pour and rain me down, And over my soul the waves and clouds go, But when the storm beats loudest, and I cry aloud for help, ‘Tis here along with everyplace, the Master standeth by, and whispers to my soul..., “Hello, this is I.” So, where He leads me, I can safely go, and in the blest hereafter I shall know, Why in wisdom He hath led me so. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Never Underestimate the Power of Prayer

The Power of Prayer A poorly dressed old lady with a look of defeat on her face, walked into a grocery store. She was asking over for assistance and approached the owner of the store in a most humble manner and asked if he would let her take on credit a few foodstuff. She softly explained that her husband was very ill and unable to work, they had seven children and they needed food. The grocer scoffed at her and requested that she leave his store. Imagining the family needs, she said: "Please, sir! I will bring you the money just as soon as I can."  The Grocer told her he could not give her credit, as she did not have a credit account at his store. Standing beside the counter was a customer who overheard the conversation between the two.
